The Ballinger Recycle Center, located at 301 S. 7th St., is open from 8am-5pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday 8am-5pm. Closed for lunch from 12-1pm. Residents can dispose of one load of normal household waste, debris or refuse (subject to assessment) for no charge with a current utility bill.

• Shingles - $55/cubic yard

• Passenger tire - $5

• Light truck tire - $8

• Tractor tire - $40

• Oil - $2.50/gallon
